Pasticcio with Feta Cheese

Ingredients

  • 300 g pasta (fusilli or penne)
  • 250 g AOOS feta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 ml milk
  • 30 g AOOS butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cooking the pasta:
    Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Preparing the mixture:
    In a bowl, beat the eggs with the milk and add a little salt and pepper. Add the crumbled feta cheese and mix gently.
  3. Baking:
    Grease a baking dish with AOOS butter. Mix the pasta with the prepared mixture and pour it into the dish. Add a little melted butter on top.
  4. Furnace:
    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30–35 minutes, until the top turns golden.
  5. Service:
    Let it cool slightly before cutting. Serve warm or even at room temperature; it’s just as good.
