Ingredients

  • 6 small or medium green peppers
  • 300 g AOOS cottage cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small bunch of chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • (Optional) a little grated AOOS kashkaval cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preparing the peppers:
    Wash the peppers and remove the tops and seeds. Set them aside while you prepare the filling.
  2. Filling:
    In a bowl, mix the AOOS cottage cheese, the egg, chopped parsley, olive oil, and seasonings. If you want more flavor, add a little grated kashkaval cheese.
  3. Stuffing the peppers:
    Fill each pepper with the prepared mixture and place them in a small baking dish.
  4. Baking:
    Sprinkle them with a little oil and place them in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes, until the peppers soften and develop a golden color on top.
  5. Service:
    Serve warm or at room temperature, paired with a fresh salad or toasted bread.
